Ok, we all know that but lets read it one more time... just to be sure:
Regular exercise is protective against heart attack because:
1. decreases mycoardial oxygen demand due to decrease in resting heart rate and blood pressure
2. increases diameter of coronary arteries
3. decreases severity of hypertension and diabetes
4. decreases total plasma bad cholesterol concentration and increases the good one
5. decreases tendency of blood clotting
